Abstract

Columna de placas perfeccionada para la depuración de gases, para poner en contacto de contracorriente un gas de fluye en sentido ascendente con un líquido que fluye en sentido descendente, caracterizada porque comprende por lo menos dos secciones, cada una de las cuales incluye por lo menos una placa perforada o de rejilla, sin rebosadero ni tubo descendente y con una relación de espacio libre de 0.30 a 0.60, así como un distribuidor de alimentación de líquido situado en la parte superior de la misma, aumentando dicha relación de espacio libre de la placa de cada sección desde la sección más alta a la más baja.
