Abstract
Un procedimiento para la preparación de un dímero del ácido 1-hidroxi-(R)-1,1-difosfónico, útil como inhibidor de la formación de incrustaciones o de la corrosión en sistema acuosos con tendencia a, o posibilidad de , depositar incrustaciones o de corroer las superficies metálicas , de fórmula (I) **fórmula** donde R es grupo alquilo, arilo, aralquilo o éter alifático de 1 a 20 átomos de carbono, y de composiciones que lo contienen, cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza porque consiste en a) someter a reacción de condensación un ácido 1-hidroxi-(R)-1,1-difosfónico anhidro a una temperatura de 170 a 180ºC a vacío, para obtener el correspondiente producto condensado dímero de fórmula (I) b) si se desea, combinar el dímero procedente de la etapa anterior con otro agente de tratamiento umbral y/o anticorrosivo y/o por lo menos un dispersante y/o por lo menos un sinergista umbral y/o por lo menos un biocida y/o un anti-espumante, de modo que el 5 a 95% del peso del material activo total lo constituya el dímero de fórmula (I)
