Abstract

Un método perfeccionado de terminar un cable eléctrico flexible plano que comprende una pluralidad de conductores paralelos espaciados empotrados en una lámina de material eléctricamente aislante, caracterizado por las operaciones de retirar el material aislante de una longitud del cable entre los extremos del mismo para dejar al descubierto partes de los conductores; arquear el cable alrededor de un eje geométrico que se extiende paralelo a los conductores; alinear la parte expuesta del conductor en un borde longitudinal del cable entre un par de dientes adyacentes en cada una de dos filas paralelas de dientes adyacentes en cada una de dos filas paralelas de dientes en un primer miembro de alojamiento de material eléctricamente aislante, salvando la parte expuesta el espacio libre existente entre las dos filas de dientes; aplanar progresivamente el cable hacia el primer miembro de alojamiento para posicionar así cada parte de conductor expuesta entre un par asociado individualmente de dientes en cada una de las dos filas de dientes; y empujar las partes de conductor expuestas al interior de ranuras de recepción de conductor en contactos individualmente asociados de una pluralidad de contactos eléctricos situados en el espacio existente entre las dos filas de dientes en el primer miembro de alojamiento.
