Abstract

Un aparato destinado a la separación por tamaños de material en partículas o en trozos, especialmente para tamizar virutas de madera, que comprende un paso para el material, definido hacia abajo por una pluralidad de portadores de material accionables giratoriamente, los cuales están dispuestos en una pluralidad de filas, siendo dichos portadores preferiblemente discos puestos de canto, engranando los portadores de una fila con holgura en los espacios entre los portadores de las filas inmediatas adyacentes a uno y otro lado, de tal modo que los portadores sirvan en conjunto para la finalidad de una criba o tamiz que se extienda a lo largo del paso desde una entrada para el material que ha de ser tamizado hasta una salida para trozos del material, por ejemplo virutas de madera gruesas, que sean demasiado grandes para ser cribados.
