Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a titled apparatus which consists in dividing the catalyst bed in a moving type denitration apparatus to a plurality of blocks in a vertical direction by means of partition plates and providing hoppers for extracting catalysts in the respective blocks, and which suppresses the influence of scale-up as far as possible and uniformalizes catalyst flowing. CONSTITUTION:When the pressure loss in catalyst beds 3 increases, the dampers 15 in an aggregating hopper 8 for the respective blocks (a)-(e) segmented by partition plates 6 are moved to open. And predetermined amounts of catalyst particles are dropped into the aggregating hopper 9 through the hoppers 7 and chutes 8 in the bottom parts of the respective blocks. At the same instant when the dampers 15 are opened, a dust remover 10 is operated to supply the catalyst particles having been removed of dusts from the upper part of the denistration tower A via a conveying duct 11 into the tower and are thereby reused. Next, after the predetermined amounts of the catalyst particles drop into the hopper 9, the dampers 15 are returned to a close state and the catalyst particles are again deposited on the dampers 15 and their angles of repose are maintained, whereby the flow thereof is stopped.
