Abstract

A system for vaporizing liquefied natural gas, comprises a vaporizer (3) for passing the gas in heat exchange relation with the working medium of an electricity-generating gas turbine installation operating in a closed cycle. The working medium of the installation passes, via a heat exchanger (9), in heat exchange relation with the exhaust gases of an electricity-generating internal combustion engine (1) which is preferably a diesel engine.
