Abstract
Mejoras introducidas en un explorador "CT" que tiene un conjunto de detectores contiguos y una fuente de un haz de abanico de energía radiante penetrante que puede desplazarse con relación a los detectores alrededor de un eje en una región que ha de ser explorada, estando dichas mejoras caracterizadas porque incluyen.: Un dispositivo para limitar la anchura de dicho haz de abanico en el sentido de la dirección de la exploración en las porciones extremas de dicha exploración de tal manera que el número de detectores iluminados cerca de cada punto extremo de la exploración sea proporcional a la distancia entre la fuente y cada punto extremo.
