Abstract

Elemento para ser utilizado como refuerzo de zapatos, que comprende un manguito alargado que rodea a una matriz que incluye una resina termoendurecible exteriormente activable, cuyo manguito está definido por una primera y segunda tiras de plástico enfrentadas entre sí, conjuntamente selladas en sus bordes marginales laterales para definir unos márgenes por los que puede manipularse el manguito, siendo termoplástico el material de que está formada la segunda tira y fusionable a una temperatura predeterminada, formándose la primera tira de un material que mantenga sustancialmente su resistencia tensil a dicha temperatura predeterminada, siendo termoselladas entre sí las porciones marginales de dichas tiras primera y segunda, definiendo las citadas porciones marginales una configuración de emparedado replegada en la que las capas exteriores del margen están definidas por las porciones marginales de la primera tira y en la que la porción interna del emparedado está formada en parte al menos del material de la segunda tira, fusionándose la porción interna del margen en una masa sustancialmente solidaria que se sella a la capa más externa de los márgenes, cuyos márgenes del manguito se hallan sustancialmente libres de abarquillamiento y se extienden lateralmente en una configuración generalmente plana.
