Abstract
The asynchronous machine rotor has stacks of laminations separated axially by spaces. The spaces between these stacks are filled with annular parts of the cast winding cage. The spacers (3) are in the form of laminations with the same outer dia. as the rotor laminations (1) and with closed slots (4) wider than the slots (2) in the rotor laminations. The spacer laminations may have radially directed trapezium shaped slots equal in number and radial height to the rotor lamination slots.
