Abstract
Un método para recuperar el calor que de otro modo se transferiría a la atmósfera por el refrigerante en un equipo convencional de refrigeración o aire acondicionado que tiene un compresor, un condensador, y un evaporador en el cual el refrigerante se hace fluir a través de un intercambiador de calor al salir del compresor pero antes de entrar en el condensador de manera que transfiera el calor del refrigerante a un medio de intercambio de calor que también fluye a través del intercambiador de calor, fluyendo el refrigerante y el medio de transferencia fluido respectivamente a través de trayectos de flujo separados en el intercambiador de calor en direcciones opuestas, caracterizado porque comprende transferir calor desde el refrigerante al medio de transferencia de calor en el intercambiador calor a un régimen tal que, para la temperatura mínima esperada del medio de transferencia de calor que entra en su trayecto de flujo en el intercambiador de calor, la calidad del refrigerante que salede su trayecto de flujo en el intercambiador de calor no descenderá de aproximadamente 0,25.
