Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar un polimezcla de acrilonitrilo-butadieno-estireno que tiene color mejorado, que comprende las etapas de: A) polimerizar a la emulsión una mezcla que comprende una formulación monómera de un monómero monovilidenaromático y un monómero de nitrilo etilénicamente insaturado, dispersado en un látex acuoso de caucho diénico, injertar al menos una parte de dicha formulación monómera como interpolímero de superestrato en dicho caucho en calidad de sustrato que proporciona un copolímero de injerto, formar durante la polimerización del mismo una polimezcla de acrilonitrilo-butadieno-estireno de dicho copolímero de injerto y un interpolímero de matriz; B) polimerizar a la emulsión dicha mezcla hasta una conversión del 85 al 98 % en calidad de mezcla parcialmente polimerizada, caracterizada la mejora por cargar adicionalmente el monómero monovinilidenaromático a dicha mezcla parcialmente polimerizada en una cantidad de 2-15 % en peso de dicha formulación monómera y polimerizar adicionalmente en la emulsión dicha mezcla parcialmente polimerizada en presencia de dicho monómero monovinilidenaromático adicional hasta que la polimerización es esencialmente completa.
