Abstract
Un procedimiento mejorado para la obtención de acero de bajo contenido en carbono por soplado de oxígeno en una masa fundida contenida en un convertidor desde encima de la superficie de dicha masa fundida en el que el soplado con oxígeno se ha interrumpido, en el que la mejora comprende la producción de acero que tiene un contenido bajo de nitrógeno por purga de dicho espacio de cabeza del convertidor por inyección de un fluido exento de nitrógeno inmediatamente antes de restablecer la inyección de oxígeno.
