Abstract

Un vidicón perfeccionado, con una relación de señal a ruido mejorada, que comprende una ampolla en la que se ha establecido el vacío que tiene en un extremo una ventana transparente al infrarrojo, un blanco de material piroeléctrico situado dentro de dicha ampolla en la proximidad inmediata a dicha ventana, medios dentro de dicha ampolla para generar un haz de electrones, medios para explorar dicho blanco con dicho haz de electrones, medios para generar un pedestal durante la vuelta del haz y medios para cargar el blanco hasta un potencial mayor que el valor de reposo del pedestal, suprimiendo con ello sustancialmente la falta de uniformidad y el ruido.
