Abstract
Un procedimiento mejorado para producir un catalizador complejo oxidado de proporcionar el catalizador objeto de la invención se combinan juntamente de tal manera que formen un pre-catalizador sólido y el pre-catalizador sólido se calcina en aire para activar dicho pre-catalizador y formar con ello dicho catalizador, en el que la mejora consiste en que la fase catalítica clave de dicho catalizador que comprende un molibdato y/o wolframato de Bi, Te, Sb, Sn, Cu o mezclas de los mismos, se forma previamente antes de combinar con los otros elementos existentes en dicho catalizador, y adicionalmente en donde ninguno de los elementos del grupo VIII existentes en dicho catalizador, si es que hay alguno, se transforma previamente en un molibdato o wolframato antes de combinar con la fase catalítica clave.
