Abstract
Válvula de elemento obturador giratorio y paso enterizos, que comprende un cuerpo que puede ser enlazado en dos lados opuestos con dos tuberías que tienen el mismo eje, un elemento obturador o macho, móvil en el interior del citado cuerpo por rotación alrededor de un eje perpendicular al eje común de las tuberías, estando atravesado el citado macho por una. lumbrera de sección cercana a la de las tuberías, y pudiendo girar desde una posición abierta, en que la lumbrera tiene sensiblemente el mismo eje que las tuberías, a una posición cerrada, en que el eje de la lumbrera forma con el eje de las tuberías un ángulo aproximadamente recto, estando provistos el cuerpo y el macho de medios para asegurar la estanquidad de la válvula en la posición cerrada, llevando el macho, al menos, un opérculo móvil en una dirección perpendicular al eje de rotación, para llegar a asegurar la estanqueidad en la posición cerrada, así como una pieza intermedia situada entre el macho del opérculo y móvil respecto al macho.
