Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de alfahalometil derivados de amino ácido, especialmente derivados de histidina y compuestos relacionados, farmaceúticamente útiles. La mayor parte del tejido de los mamíferos contiene histamina, siendo la concentración particularmente alta en la piel, en la mucosa intestinal y en los pulmones. Todo tejido de mamíferos, que contiene histamina, incluyendo las células sanguíneas blancas, aparece como capaz de sintetizar la amina de histidina. La principal enzima, comprendida en la catalización en vivo de la conversión de histidina en histamina, es decarboxilasa de histidina, que es específica para el substrato L-histidina. En muchos tejidos el principal lugar de almacenaje de histamina es la célula de mástil, o en el caso de sangre, el basófilo que es la contrapartida circulante de la célula de mástil de tejido. Las células de mástil no son la única fuente de tejido de histamina, que está presente en cantidades sustanciales en la epidermis humana, el sistemanervioso central y la mucosa gastrointestinal.
