Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de una composición de polvo de aluminio dispersable en agua, esencialmente en finas partículas y sustancialmente no empolvante apto para sensibilizar un agente explosivo en suspensión, caracterizado porque comprende (a) triturar una alimentación de aluminio en partículas en un medio hidrocarbúrico y en presencia del 5% al 20% en peso, basado en el peso de la alimentación de partículas de aluminio deseado y separar luego la mayor parte del medio hidrocarbúrico para proporcionar una composición que contiene entre alrededor del 30% y alrededor de hidrocarburo; y (b) si se desea, desplazar a continuación el medio hidrocarbúrico restante de la composición mezclando con ésta del 30% al 50% en peso, basado en el peso del polvo de aluminio, de un disolvente polar capaz de hinchar o disolver polivinilpirrolidona, y separar luego de la composición el medio hidrocarbúrico desplazado.
