Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en tambores rotativos de secado para máquinas de fabricar papel y más concretamente tambores secadores cilíndricos huecos que tienen una superficie exterior para secar térmicamente una lámina que se desplaza, caracterizados por comprender en combinación una conexión de suministro de vapor para dirigir vapor al interior del tambor; una conexión de evacuación de condensado para retirar el condensado del tambor; una pluralidad de barretas que se extienden axialmente sobre la superficie interior del tambor para producir turbulencia en el condensado dentro del tambor; un anillo anular dispuesto contra un extremo de las barretas y espaciado de un extremo del tambor que forma un canal colector de condensado entre dicho extremo y dicho anillo anular de modo que fluya condensado sobre el anillo entre dichas barretas y al interior de dicho canal; y un conducto de evacuación de condensado que conduce a dicha conexión de evacuación y que tiene un extremo con una boca de entrada situado en dicho canal.
