Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en un aparato para formar artículos de vidrio huecos en el cual se suministra a un molde de globo hueco una carga de vidrio y el extremo abierto del molde de globo hueco está provisto de un embudo para guiar la carga al interior del mismo antes de formar el globo hueco en el mismo y el globo hueco formado es entonces transferido a un molde de soplado, donde se conforma el artículo con su forma final, comprendiendo los perfeccionamientos en el mecanismo de accionamiento del embudo: una pieza colada que se extiende verticalmente montada adyacente a dicho molde de globo hueco; un motor de fluido montado en el extremo superior de dicha pieza colada; un vástago de émbolo que se extiende hacia abajo; un casquillo cilíndrico alargado montado en la parte inferior de dicha pieza colada, extendiéndose el extremo inferior de dicho vástago de émbolo dentro de dicho casquillo y guiado por éste, estando dicha pieza colada abierta a lo largo de un lado de la misma entre dicho extremo superior de apoyo del cilindro y dicho extremo inferior de apoyo del casquillo; un plato de leva curvado llevado por dicha pieza colada; un seguidor de leva montado en dicho vástago y que hace contacto con dicho plato de leva; y un brazo que lleva un embudo fijado a dicho vástago y que se extiende a través de la abertura de dicha pieza colada.
