Abstract

Un procedimiento para la producción de piezas coladas de metal que constituyen el producto final que tienen una calidad superficial y una calidad interna mejoradas, que comprende las etapas de (a) fundir materiales de carga seleccionados en un horno, (b) afinar la masa fundida, (c) vaciar la masa fundida en un molde, (d) dejar que la masa fundida se solidifique en el molde, y (e) retirar la pieza colada del molde, caracterizado por: (1) transferir la masa fundida desde el horno de fusión a un recipiente de afino provisto al menos de una tobera sumergida, y (2) afinar dicha masa fundida por (a) inyección en la masa fundida a través de dicha(s) tobera(s) de una mezcla gaseosa que contiene oxígeno y que contiene de 10% a 90% de un gas de dilución, y (b) después de ello, inyectar un gas de borboteo en la masa fundida a través de dicha(8) tobera(s).
