Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en el tendido de conductos sumergidos en el fondo del mar o de una masa de agua, que se caracterizan esencialmente por el hecho de colocarse tales conductos de modo que inicialmente se apoyen sólo por determinadas zonas sobre el fondo del líquido para afianzar los mencionados conductos y reducir la deriva de los mismos debida a las corrientes transversales, a cuyo efecto se aplican a cada una de dichas zonas, que están convenientemente distanciadas entre sí, un peso suficiente para que ofrezcan una flotabilidad francamente negativa que los obligue a apoyarse fuertemente sobre el aludido fondo hasta semihundirse incluso en él como consecuencia del arrastre a que se ve sometido el propio conducto durante su colocación, en tanto que a las porciones de este último situadas entre las referidas zonas se les da una flotabilidad positiva, o débilmente negativa que las mantiene ya sea entre dos aguas o bien descansando ligera y superficialmente sobre aquel fondo.
