Abstract

Un método para hacer un material sorbente para la eliminación del yodo radioactivo y los yoduros orgánicos radioactivos a partir de una corriente de gas desagradable que contenga yodo y yoduro, y comprende los pasos de: disolver una cantidad escogida previamente de sal metálica en un primer recipiente que contenga un volumen, que se escoge previamente, de agua; disolver una cantidad, que se escoge previamente, de amina hidrosoluble en un segundo recipiente que contenga una cantidad preescogida de agua; mezclar las dos soluciones preparadas y añadir una cantidad predeterminada de un ácido orgánico para formar una solución homogénea de un complejo de sal y amina; impregnar un material cerámico adsorbente con el complejo de sal y amina; y secar el material impregnado.
