Abstract

The pallet transporter truck has a steering handle which is also used for operating the hydraulic lifting pump. This comprises a spring loaded piston reciprocating in the side of the hydraulic fluid reservoir. Change over from raising the piston, to its descent, is effected by a lever on the handle. This is connected to a rod passing through the handle, its lower end operating a vertical bell crank lever. The lever in turn operates a similar horizontal lever under the hydraulic piston, one end contacting the changeover valve. An intermediate neutral position permits manoeuvring of the truck, without affecting the piston.
