Abstract

Procedimiento para la esterilización o parestado anti-microbiano de materiales orgánicos o inorgánicos, caracterizado porque en su realización dichos materiales se someten a tratamiento químico , bajo una temperatura de 30º a 40º, con un baño acuoso en proporción ponderal 2 a 20 veces mayor que la del material sometido a tratamiento , cuyo baño acuoso contiene 20 a 50.000 ppm de un éter hidroxidifenílico halogenado, en calidad de materia activa, de la fórmula general **fórmula ** en la que X significa halógeno, metilo, metoxilo o hidroxilo, Y significa hidrógeno, metilo o trifluorometilo, Hal significa halógeno, y m, 0 1 o 2 y una concentración 2 a 30 veces mayor que la de la materia activa de un tensioactivo anionactivo de los grupos de los alquilsulfonatos, los alquilsulfatos, los triaminoalquilsulfatos, los alquilnaftalinsulfatos y los dialquilsulfosuccinatos, pero manteniendo una relación de materia activa a tensioactivo comprendida entre 1:2 y 1:30, de preferencia entre 1:2 y 1:10 escurriendo y secando a continuación el material así tratado, que queda esterilizado y protegido del ataque ulterior de microorganismos.
