Abstract
Un método para la preparación de una composición curable principalmente a base de vidrio, caracterizado porque comprende: 1) fundir una cochura que consta "estando referidos todos los porcentajes en peso al peso total de metales en la cochura, calculados como sus óxidos, más el peso de flúor en la cochura" de 25 a 35% en peso de sílice; 30 a 40% en peso, calculado como alúmina, de alúmina o un precursor de esta; 15 a 30% en peso, calculado como óxido cálcico, de óxido de calcio o un precursor de éste, y un compuesto que contiene flúor en cantidad para proporcionar hasta el 9% en peso de flúor en el vidrio formado, siendo el contenido en calcio total, calculado como óxido de calcio, de 20 a 35% en peso; a una temperatura de más de 1350ºC para producir un vidrio que conste esencialmente de 25 a 35 % en peso de silicio calculado como sílice de 30 a 40% en peso de aluminio calculado como alúmina, del 20 al 35% en peso de calcio, calculado como óxido de calcio y hasta el 9% en peso de flúor; 2)combinar el vidrio de fluoraluminosilicato cálcico procedente de la etapa anterior con un ácido policarboxílico o un precursor polimérico del mismo y, opcionalmente, con un ácido policarboxílico orgánico o ácido hidroxicarboxílico en forma de partículas secas, una carga en partículas, un material en partículas cristalino inorgánico soluble en agua; para obtener una composición curable; 3) opcionalmente, asociar la composición procedente de la etapa anterior con un material soporte flexible que es poroso y está provisto de interticios adicionando si se desea, hasta un 5% de aglutinante basado en el contenido total de sólidos soportados.
