Abstract

Procedimiento para la depuración de resinas intercambiadoras de iones usadas en reactores nucleares, en particular para liberar de productos de corrosión radioactivos y de sustancias de acondicionamiento procedentes del circuito de refrigerante, las resinas intercambiadoras de iones usadas en el funcionamiento de reactores nucleares caracterizado porque comprende las fases de lavar la resina primeramente a fondo con deionato; filtrar las sustancias flotantes radioactivas desprendidas del lecho de resina, lavar en un filtro mecánico, preferentemente de material filtrante inorgánico, lavar la resina a continuación con ácidos minerales, tal como ácido nítrico; y ligar los cationes y aniones radioactivos desprendidos a una sustancia absorbecedora especial fijada sobre un soporte inorgánico, tal como cianuros férreos-ferricos mezclados, conocidos o compuestos-Ag; y separar para su eventual empleo de nuevo, las sustancias de acondicionamiento, tal como el boro y el litio, que quedan en la solución de ácido mineral, las cuales se llevan a las deseadas formas de compuestos químicos.
