Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en discos de freno con refrigeración mejorada por ventilación, constituidos por un aro de freno que presenta en el interior canales de trazado radial formados por aletas y en el que el aire refrigerador, encauzado por las aletas, entra en los canales por la periferia interna del aro de freno del lado el cubo y sale por la periferia externa del aro de freno, caracterizados en que complementariamente a las aletas de pala (23, 27), que tiene longitud correspondiente mas o menos a toda la anchura del aro de freno (22), se establecen aletas de flujo térmico (28), las cuales, para aumentar la turbulencia en el radio (35) del freno, tiene una relación porcentual de la anchura (31) del pie de las aletas respecto a la sección (36) de la aleta superior al 60 % y en la periferia interna (30) del aro de freno una relación porcentual entre 80 y 100 % y además una escoradura (29); y en que para aumentar el caudal de aire se mantiene entre la sección transversal de la entrada e aire y la sección transversal de la salida de aire una relación desde menor de 1 : 2 hasta 1 : 1 a los sumo.
