Abstract
The clutch plate control mechanism is particularly for controlling the movement of an intermediate pressure plate in a multiplate clutch. It meets the requirement to move the intermediate pressure plate sufficiently far to disconnect the drive without moving the main pressure plate too far. There is a limit stop (14) which can be adjusted and a locking piece (17) that turns transverse to the direction of clutch movement. A spring (19) keeps the limit stop in position against the driving plate and the limit stop is shaped like a peg with a tapered section against which the locking piece slides. The limit stop can have a second end section that fits against the main pressure plate (2).
