Abstract

1,267,274. Controlling tape recorders. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 2 April, 1969 [5 April, 1968], No. 17217/69. Heading G5R. Forward and reverse drive respectively are initiated by the displacement in opposite directions from a rest position of a control lever 12 which extends between two stops 18, 19 provided'at opposite ends of a two-armed lever 25 which is thereby turned invariably in the same direction to release the brakes 29 from the tapereel discs 1, 2 whenever the control lever 12 is displaced in either direction from its rest position. The rest position of the two armed lever 25 is adjustable by means of an eccentric pin 26.
