Abstract

Método para el control de emisiones desde un recipiente de una serie de recipientes metalúrgicos, cada uno de los cuales incluye una envoltura provista de una puerta de acceso y un colector primario y otro secundario para gases, acoplados a la envoltura y a sistemas depuradores de gases dotados de un medio productor de tiro de expulsión, cada uno de cuyos recipientes incluye toberas para inyectar gases procesadores por debajo del nivel del metal fundido y es inclinable desde una posición de insuflado normal, en la que un extremo abierto del recipiente queda debajo del medio colector de gas primario, a posiciones secundarias en las que el extremo abierto del recipiente se desplaza desde los colectores de gases primarios para recibir una carga metálica o para descargar metal del recipiente, cuyo método comprende las operaciones de colocar el extremo abierto de uno de los recipientes en una posición secundaria, con. su citado extremo abierto adyacente a la puerta de acceso; reducir al mínimo el flujo a través de los colectores de gases primarios asociados a un recipiente y conectar el colector secundario a su asociado sistema depurador de gases; acoplar el colector de gas secundario al sistema depurador de gases de otro recipiente.
