Abstract

Perfeccionamiento en las llantas perfiladas para ruedas de motocicletas y ciclomotores, caracterizado porque el perfil de la llanta obtenida por fundición o extrusión en una primera fase presenta, en el plano medio vertical y en la zona de mayor convexidad de su sección transversal interior, un nervio perimetral interno que es continuo o discontinuo. El nervio forma, con el cuerpo acanalado de la llanta, un conjunto que tiene la adecuada flexibilidad y resistencia a los impactos. A intervalos uniformes del nervio continuo o en los nervios discontinuos se practican los conjuntos de orificios que, atravesando los nervios, permiten realizar en una segunda fase la unión de la llanta con los radios de la rueda que unen la llanta con el cubo central de la rueda. Los radios de unión son piezas independientes obtenidas previamente.
