Abstract
A digital-to-analog converter for a pulse coded modulated signal comprising elements for increasing the sampling rate of the signal, elements for selecting a predetermined number of the most significant bits of each code group of the increased sample rate signal, and elements to convert said most significant bits into a pulse flow whose density is proportional to the amplitude of the signal.
