Abstract
Procedure for obtaining a catalyst by reacting titanium tetrachloride with an organic aluminum compound containing aluminum dialcehylic chloride, in an inert hydrocarbon solvent, separation and washing of the reaction product, and following heat treatment of the reaction product suspended in the hydrocarbon solvent, in the presence of an ether (component A), and mixed with an aluminum dialkyl halide (component 8) and possibly with a cyclopolyene as a stereo-regulator (component C), characterized in that in order to obtain component A, in the reaction of titanium tetrachloride with the organic aluminum compound that contains aluminum dialkyl chloride, the organic aluminum compound is added to the titanium tetrachloride at a temperature of -20 to + 20ºC, in a molar ratio between aluminum diclcohilic chloride and titanium tetrachloride of 0.8 : 1 to 1.5: 1, the suspension containing the solid reaction product being washed subjected after the heat treatment, in the presence of a dialcohylic ether, to a subsequent treatment with an aluminum alcohol halide.
