Abstract
Improvements in radial circulation blowers, characterized in that the blower comprises a spiral casing having a peripheral outlet and an inlet opening in an axial end wall of said casing, a rotor rotatably mounted in said casing so as to define a zone of clearance between the periphery of the rotor and the periphery of the housing, said rotor being positioned so as to define a gap between said axial end wall and a contiguous axial end of the rotor, so as to allow unobstructed air circulation between a part of said clearance zone and said clearance space, and a spacer member partially surrounding said inlet opening and extending within said rotor from said axial end wall.
