A reconfiguration device for a group of memory modules, for a system comprising several computers connected to the memory modules through the memory controls. At least one memory control and its associated memory module are in reserve. Said device characterized in that each reconfiguration circuit includes elements to modify, upon receiving a command from one of the computers, the address and/or activation status of the memory control inputs to which said reconfiguration circuit is associated, in order to make it possible to reconfigure the group of memory modules with, if necessary, the replacement of the faulty memory control and its memory module by a memory control and its spare memory module.
