Abstract

De acuerdo con la invención, se provee un rotor mejorado para un analizador fotométrico de posiciones múltiples, que es capaz de trabajar sin la ayuda de la gravitación para efectuar la transferencia o la retención de líquidos. El rotor comprende un miembro laminado en forma de disco con un disco central opaco introducido entre discos exteriores transparentes. El disco central está dotado de un montaje circular de aberturas que se extienden en forma axial, que forman las cubetas de análisis de muestras cuando del disco es introducido entre los discos transparentes exteriores. Los portillos centrales de carga se extienden a través de cada uno de los discos transparentes exteriores, en relación con las respectivas cámaras de distribución formadas en las caras extremas opuestas del disco central. Unos pasajes se extienden desde cada una de las cámaras de distribución hasta cada cubeta de análisis de muestras, para añadir los líquidos de muestra y reactivos a las cubetas. Se han provisto mediospara distribuir la muestra y los líquidos reactivos de modo uniforme a las cubetas de análisis de muestra mientras que el rotor se encuentra en funcionamiento.
