Abstract

Un procedimiento para revestir objetos con partículas o flocos o fibras de material pulverulento o granular, en el cual las partículas que sirven para el revestimiento son proyectadas con ayuda de un campo electrostático sobre un elemento captador que forma el objeto a recubrir, caracterizado porque se dispone el material de recubrimiento en fina división sobre una base ,preferiblemente una base aislante, enfrentada al elemento captador, en su lado vuelto hacia el elemento captador, de modo que quede suelta sobre ella en capa uniforme o aproximadamente uniforme, el material de revestimiento/situado sobre la base es dejado libre por agitación separándolo de la base, por ejemplo, por vía eléctrica, con preferencia con ayuda de un campo alterno, o por vía mecánica, de modo que se sumerja en un campo electrostático situado entre la base y el elemento captador, porque, luego , el material de revestimiento que ha quedado libre es acelerado con ayuda del campo electrostático hasta el elemento captador y porque las partículas proyectadas desde la base son retenidas en el elemento captador asociando a éste un potencial diferente del potencial de uno de los electrodos del campo electrostático, pudiendo unirse íntimamente el material de revestimiento con el elemento captador por acción del calor o de un adhesivo.
