Abstract
Procedure for the subsequent treatment of phosphated metal surfaces, characterized in that the phosphated metal surface is brought into contact with an aqueous zirconium rinsing solution consisting essentially of a stable water soluble zirconium compound dissolved in water to a concentration of at least 0.05 g per liter (calculated as ZrO2), the solution having a pH of at least 3.
