Abstract

Un procedimiento para la colada totalmente continua de metales en estado líquido de fusión, colándose fusiones de composición química distinta sucesivamente en una coquilla refrigerada por agua para formar una barra coherente, que se extrae de la coquilla y se sigue refrigerando, caracterizado porque una vez finalizada la colada de una fusión de una composición A, se introduce en la coquilla un cuerpo metálico, con preferencia una placa adaptada a la sección transversal de la coquilla, que se suelda con la fusión de la composición A, después de lo cual se prosigue la colada con una fusión de otra composición química B que, a su vez, se suelda con el cuerpo metálico.
