Abstract
Electromechanical transducer core containing magnetostrictive material is energized by two electromagnetic fields which are oriented transversely to each other and controlled to vary the direction of magnetization of the core cyclically and vibrate the core by longitudinal and transverse magnetostriction to convert electrical power to mechanical power conversion of mechanical to electrical power can be obtained by converse magnetostrictive action.
