Abstract

Amplitude modulated alternating current generator comprising a direct voltage source having first and second terminals, an oscillating circuit comprising two inductive branches and a capacitive branch, and alternatively driven commutated conduction switching means for connecting in series between said terminals capacitive branch and one of said inductive branches and to join together the other inductive branch and said capacitive branch, characterized in that said inductive branches are constituted, respectively, by the primary windings of two transformers; the secondary windings of said transformers being periodically connected to the terminals of said source by means of second commanded conduction switching means; delayed tripping means being provided for bringing said second switching means into conduction at intermediate moments in the conduction cycle of said first switching means.
