Abstract

The workability of polyvinyl chloride is improved by incorporation of 2-50% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition of an [alpha]-methylstyrene-styrene-acrylonitrile terpolymer, said terpolymer having more than 50% [alpha]-methylstyrene, containing no residual monomer and having a Vicat softening point greater than 105 C. Barium and cadmium laurate or ricinoleate may be added as stabilizers and lubricants.
