Abstract

Composition comprising a major proportion of (a) a PVC resin and (b) a minor proportion of dialkyl-tin-dioctylthioglycolate and dialkyl-tin-thiobetapropionate, the alkyl groups being pref. lower alkyl. (A) may be PVC homopolymer alone or e.g. a composition of 70-95 wt.% 80/20 vinylchloride/maleic acid copolymer and 5-30% of a graft copolymer of butadiene/styrene/acrylonitrile. The stabiliser composition may be 1-5 parts di-n-butyl-tin-diisooctylthioglycolate and 0.01 to 2.0 parts di-n-butyl-tin-thiobetapropionate. (Amounts with respect to 100 parts. of PVC resin).
