Abstract
In a tractor and backhoe of the type shown in Fig. 1 a stabilizer leg 16 or 17 includes a bifurcated part 41, 42 and a second part 34 (piston-rod or an hydraulic cylinder or motor 32, pivotally connected by a pin passing through axially aligned apertures in the arms 41, 42 of the bifurcated part and the second part, said pin having a central portion to provide a journal for the second part and frustoconical end portions. Split sleeves (50), (51), Fig. 3 (not shown) each having an internal surface adapted to engage an end portion of the pin and an external surface adapted to engage within the aperture in an arm of the bifurcated part lock the bifurcated part and pin against relative movement (see Division E2)
