Abstract

1422623 Chain connectors BULTENKANTHAL AB 7 Jan 1974 [12 Jan 1973 6 June 1973] 00707/74 Heading F2Q A screw-threaded head 17 is universally connected to the end of a link type lift chain 10 of a fork lift truck by a clevis 18 connected to the chain by a first connector pin 15 parallel to the chain pins 13, and to the head 17 by a second connector pin 20 at right angles to the first, 15. In Fig. 1 the clevis 18 comprises superposed U- shaped parts 18, 18A. . . 18C replacing the inner and outer plates 11, 12 of the last chain link, and received between limbs 19 on the head 17. In Fig. 2, not shown, the clevis is solid, replacing the inner end plates, and has a forked lower end embracing and pivoted to an eye (16A) on the end of the head 17.
