Abstract

A combined cut-off and pressure regulating valve for use in an oil burner system (see Division F4) comprises a spring 42 acting on a valve element 43 which slides in a bush 44 and has an extension 45 which is forced against a valve seat 40 by the spring when the oil pressure is low. In use the oil normally passes into a channel 46 but if the pressure is very high some oil is diverted into a relief channel 47.
