Process for the benefit of minerals, particularly for the benefit in slurry of a salt of a reservoir containing said salt as a less soluble component of a double salt that forms an incongruously saturated solution to recover the less soluble salt thereof, characterized by: (1) introducing water or an unsaturated aqueous solution of salt into said reservoir, leaching the more soluble salt to itself and forming a cavity, causing said leaching to form a substantially saturated solution of said more soluble salt and a slurry of the less soluble salt not dissolved; (2) extracting a substantially saturated solution of said more soluble salt, which has less dissolved non-dissolved salt particles entrained in it; and (3) recovering said less soluble salt.
