Abstract
A heat transfer device in combination with a dispensing container or dispenser of a substance flowing layers and provided with means having an outlet for regulating the passage of the substance from the interior of said container to a region outside thereof, heat transfer comprising a body of material of appreciable thermal capacity and good heat transfer properties, the outer surfaces of said body being exposed, and said body provided with a tortuous conduit running through it, said conduit having an inlet connected at the outlet of the control means, and also an outlet for supplying the substance to the place of use, whereby the temperature of a quantity of the substance can be altered during the supply from the container to the place of use, by first flowing over the exposed surfaces of the body a heatable fluid at a temperature other than the the body, and then actuating the control means of the container to discharge substance into and through the conduit so that heat is transmitted between the material of the conduit and the substance capable of flowing, as the latter travels the conduit to the place of use .
