Abstract

Un. cable de fibra óptica, que comprende: a) Un elemento de cubierta tubular longitudinal b) Un elemento soporte central situado centralmente dentro del hueco de la cubierta y fabricado de un material aislante. c) Varios elementos tubulares longitudinales de plástico que acomodan las fibras que rodean al elemento central y situado cada uno entre dicho elemento central y el elemento exterior conteniendo cada uno de dichos elementos tubulares al menos una fibra óptica dentro de el hueco del mismo y fabricados a partir de un plástico que tiene embebidos en el mismo varías fibras de vidrio orientadas longitudinalmente a lo largo de dicho elemento tubular y de una longitud sustancialmente menor que cualquiera de los elementos tubulares con lo que cada elemento tubular proporciona un soporte adicional a dicho cable, haciendo posible una reducción de la sección transversal de dicho elemento soporte central.
