Abstract

A disc which forms part of a support for a conveyor belt of the type having rollers comprising discs threaded on a flexible strap, has a wide rim (3) which is formed with slits, indentations, notches or crenels (4) so that the rim is deformable under the action of the belt and of any products carried thereon. Any deposits either present or tending to build up on the rim are disintegrated so that the discs of the support are unclogged.
